Introduction to Art is a general Visual Arts course that exposes students to various learning situations from the following areas: design, drawing, painting, and three-dimensional design. Students in this course will deal with both realistic and representational images in extensive Linear Perspective studies, Still Life Observations, Kaleidoscope Designs, Papier Mache Mask, as well as other formats. Through this course students will establish a foundation for more specific art courses.

Two-Dimensional Design is a course with an in depth focus on various spatial arrangements in a flat two dimensional setting with less stress on representational images and more focus on spatial arrangements.

Students will also complete both realistic observation works, as well as, expressive and abstract works. Students who are interested in majoring in art in college should also acquire pieces for their portfolio.
Drawing II, Drawing III Offered on individual basis, allowing students to continue to strengthen drawing skills and prepare a portfolio for college.
